Privacy policy

Kraftmark Verify checks a battery code against a register and shows the warranty status. The service is built to hold as little personal data as possible.

What is recorded

  • The code you enter or scan, and whether it matched the register.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the time.

No account, name, email, or precise location is required or collected to run a check.

Why

These records are used only to keep the service working and to detect abuse, such as a single source testing large numbers of codes. They are not used for advertising and are not sold or shared.

Retention

Verification records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Battery registration records are kept for the length of the warranty term plus a short period for claims.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may cache static files so pages load faster.

Your requests

To ask what is held about a certificate, or to have a record corrected or removed, contact the dealer that issued the certificate. Removing a registration record ends the ability to verify that battery.
